Inclines will not be the death of me!

During this new phase in my life, one thing that I have pretty well refused to do is walk any sort of hill. I won't lie, I hate walking up inclines...the heart starts racing, I breathe really heavy, and it is like my face turns on a faucet of sweat. So, in other words, walking on inclines will help me burn fat and calories! LOL

I decided this evening, since I needed a lot of steps to work up to 10k, that I would walk in my neighborhood. It is rather hilly and I didn't think I would last long, but I ended up walking an hour in a bit of a loop, and finishing it off with a massive hill (well, massive to me at least). I am not only shocked I was able to do it, but I am also super proud that I can now. That is something I could NOT do before.

Onward and upwards folks ;)
